The long-short equity strategy is the portfolio management approach that most resembles the one originally followed by the first hedge fund. Like A.W. In February I attended  Hedge Fund Fundamentals course again. Before launching Eganov Asset Management Stocks&Derivatives Strategies hedge fund I was one of the first students who took this course by George Ivanyan and Evgenia Sluchak. One of the guest speakers was Michael Boboshko. He is a spokesman for one of the most famous hedge-fund administrator Apex. The course was taught at New Economic School during two days.

Results 2016
We did not start 2016 very well, but we change the situation due to our systematic trading.  In 2016 we have improved our option system and developed new added system for stocks and ETF (more information). 
In December the index S&P 500 increased by +1.82% and the hedge fund EAM Stocks&Derivatives Strategies by +2.40%. In 2016 the index made performance of +9.54% and the hedge fund +14.87%. More information about the performance.
